What is Tirenex?
Tirenex is a wireless tire pressure monitoring (TPMS) receiver that captures pressure and temperature data from sensors installed in your tires and outputs that data to an optional touchscreen display or aftermarket ECU via CAN bus.
Why would I need this?
If you drive an older vehicle you’re likely using a platform that never had TPMS integrated. Tirenex adds tire pressure intelligence and integrates it into a custom mounted touchscreen LCD or aftermarket ECU you already have.
Is this DOT-approved or street-legal?
Tirenex is a passive RF receiver — it does not transmit RF and does not replace your factory TPMS for vehicles where TPMS is legally required for road use. It supplements or replaces aftermarket TPMS solutions in builds where the factory system is no longer present.
Compatibility
Will it work with my Aftermarket ECU?
If your ECU has a CAN bus and supports custom inputs, most likely yes. The Holley Terminator family, FuelTech, Haltech, MoTeC, AEM, and similar standalone ECUs should all be compatible. See the Compatible ECUs page for the verified list.
Will it work with my sensors?
Tirenex supports 315 MHz, 433 MHz, and BLE TPMS sensors. The verified list is on the Sensors page. If your specific sensor is not listed, it likely would still work — but needs direct testing to implement. Post in the support forum to get your sensor added to our library.
Do I need a special tool to learn the sensors?
Yes, but it is included with every build. Tirenex if ordered with a set of sensors will come shipped with the sensors pre-learned and labeled for tire location. Reprogramming (depending on sensor) requires an activation tool to “wake” the sensors up during that process. BLE sensors will automatically pick up when you start driving.
Can I use it without an ECU?
Yes. Pair the Tirenex Base with a Tirenex touchscreen display to run as a standalone tire intelligence system.
Hardware
What’s the range?
Tirenex is designed to receive all four tire sensors from a typical under-dash mounting location on passenger cars and trucks. Range from the antenna to the tire is approximately 10 to 20 feet under normal conditions.
Power consumption?
Under 200 mA at 12V. Negligible draw.
Does it have any moving parts or anything that wears out?
No moving parts. The module is solid-state. Sensor batteries are the only consumable in the system, and those are inside your tires (not in Tirenex).

Installation
Can I install this myself?
Yes. Most installs take 30 to 60 minutes for someone comfortable with basic 12V automotive wiring. Detailed instructions are on the Installation Guide page.
What if I have wiring questions during install?
Post in the support forum with photos of what you’re working with. Other users and our team will help you through it.

Orders in-stock typically ship within 2 to 3 business days from the United States.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, to most countries. Shipping cost and transit time will be calculated at checkout based on your destination.
